Nuevo restaurante en Chelsea

[:es]London calling! Un nuevo concepto de restauración llega al epicentro del exclusivo barrio de Chelsea, Londres, de la mano de In Out Studio, exportando su diseño y know-how en el nuevo Chelsea Bistró.

Vibrante a la vez que clásico y elegante, este nuevo restaurante se ha diseñado para hacer las delicias de la sociedad londinense. Nayra Iglesias, al frente de la dirección creativa, explica que “La combinación de nuevas texturas y materiales nobles como el mármol nos permite crear un ambiente muy refinado a la vez que fresco. Encaja a la perfección con el espíritu de la zona”.

Un oasis alejado del bullicio exterior. Un ambiente clásico interpretado desde una perspectiva moderna en la que mármol, vidrio y texturas metalizadas se relacionan en una atmósfera llena de vida. Luz natural por el día y de sensuales reflejos por la noche.

 

Este espacio amplio y diáfano tiene capacidad para unos 60 comensales y cuenta con tres zonas formalmente diferenciadas. Un sillón central, una barra con taburetes y los laterales con mesas apoyadas en arcos.

La zona central, separada con una trama de mármol blanco y negro del pavimento continuo general en color terracota, dialoga con el techo espejado en bronce aportando sensación de infinito al conjunto. Los reflejos – también bronce – de techo y pared con una serie de piezas retroiluminadas. Consiguen un ritmo contrapuesto al de los arcos de fachada, estableciendo una relación de opuestos entre las formas.

 

Estas piezas espejadas a modo de grapa entre pared y techo, se acoplan al revestimiento tridimensional con el toque clásico de un zócalo que lo recorre por completo. Esta línea toma materialidad en los arcos. Tanto de fachada como interiores, al convertirse en una pieza continua de mármol negro que alberga asiento en su interior.

La barra es el punto focal final del restaurante, una pieza monumental de mármol negro estriado. Combina con un espectacular botellero retroiluminado y reúne los 4 colores presentes: terracota, negro, blanco y violeta. La combinación inesperada del patrón en blanco, negro y violeta al más puro estilo años 20 es el complemento perfecto del aire classy de este nuevo bistró.

 

Como no podía ser de otra manera en los proyectos de In Out Studio, la iluminación es el principal elemento en la configuración del espacio y la experiencia. Se diseñan varias capas para crear la atmósfera perfecta según el momento del día. Con elementos retroiluminados como el foso del techo, apliques en los arcos, lámparas suspendidas en la zona central y elementos puntuales cercanos al comensal. Todos ellos con diseño original por Nayra Iglesias.

 

En las luminarias se incluyen los apliques Eklipse Xl de la Colección Violet Bliss y las lámparas GIO de la colección GIO by Nayra Iglesias + Peke Toyas, de la que también encontramos los portavelas Gio Casella como elementos decorativos. El mobiliario, por otra parte, también cuenta con sello de la diseñadora, incluyendo la butaca y la silla LOLAPOP de la Colección Violet Bliss así como su adaptación a sillón y la mesa de 6 en mármol negro.

 

Chelsea Bistró es un restaurante diferente, lleno de color a la vez que elegante, que llega a Londres para convertirse en un must de la sociedad británica y servir de bandera de presentación al estudio liderado por Iglesias.

¿Serán los nuevos 20 el momento perfecto para traer de vuelta los ambientes al más puro estilo Gatsby?  Sin duda, In Out Studio apuesta por ello.

 [:en]London calling! A new restaurant concept by In Out Studio hits the heart of the exclusive neighborhood of Chelsea, London. In Out Studio is exporting its design and know-how to UK in the new Chelsea Bistró.

Vibrant yet classic and elegant, this new restaurant has been designed to delight the London society. Nayra Iglesias, in charge of the creative direction, explains that «The combination of new textures and noble materials such as marble allows us to create a very sophisticated but fresh atmosphere, which fits perfectly with the spirit of the area».

An oasis away from the hustle and bustle outside, a classic environment seen from a modern perspective in which marble, glass, and metallic textures meet in an atmosphere full of life, filled with natural light during the day and sensual reflections at night.

This large, open-plan space can seat 60 people and has three formally differentiated areas: a central armchair, a bar with stools, and side tables leaning on arches.

The central area, marked by a grid of black and white marble in contrast to the general continuous terracotta-colored flooring, dialogues with the bronze mirrored ceiling, giving a sense of infinity to the interior. The reflections – also bronze – of the ceiling and wall with a series of backlit pieces create a rhythm that contrasts with the arches of the façade, establishing a relationship of opposites between the forms.

These mirrored pieces, as a staple between wall and ceiling, are integrated into the three-dimensional cladding with the classic touch of a plinth that goes all the way around it. This line takes on materiality in the arches, both on the façade and the interior, becoming a continuous piece of black marble that holds a seat inside.

The bar is the closing point of the restaurant, a monumental piece of fluted black marble that combines with a spectacular backlit wine rack while bringing together the 4 colors present: terracotta, black, white, and violet. The unexpected combination of the black, white and violet pattern in the purest 1920’s style is the perfect complement to the classy air of this new bistro.

As it could not be otherwise in In Out Studio’s projects, lighting is the main element in the configuration of the space and the experience. Several layers are designed to create the perfect atmosphere depending on the time of day, with backlit elements such as the ceiling pit, wall lights in the arches, suspended lamps in the central area and punctual elements close to the customer, all of them with original design by Nayra Iglesias.

The lighting elements include the Eklipse Xl wall lamp from the Violet Bliss Collection and the GIO lamps from the GIO by Nayra Iglesias + Peke Toyas collection, which also features the Gio Casella candle holders as decorative elements. The furniture, on the other hand, comes with the designer’s signature, including both, the LOLAPOP armchair and chair from the Violet Bliss Collection as well as its adaptation to an armchair and the table of 6 in black marble.

Chelsea Bistró is a different restaurant, full of color as much as elegant, which arrives in London destined to become a must in British society and to be a brand presentation flag for the studio led by Iglesias.

Will the new 20’s be the perfect time to bring back the purest Gatsby-style ambiances? In Out Studio is definitely betting on it.
